Ability to zoom in/out of screen capture
When editing a video it would be great to be able to zoom in/out of areas. Also it would be great to highlight sections on/off. This would be especially useful for screen capture demonstrations.

ASIO support would be extremely useful in reducing audio latency issues.
I work for a large IT company that does a lot of video broadcasting, we are currently rolling out SmoothStream as our delivery method of choice.
Using a...
i7 2600k sandy bridge
6gb ddr3
Datapath VisionRGB-E1S
Asus Xonar DXWe find the audio is out of sync arriving around 100ms after the 1080p video.
Supporting ASIO would allow for lower latency from the sound card thus keeping a tighter sync with the video.

import text/transcription file that expression would break into character counted sections (32 char) then just add times during playback
Adding plain text import to script commands for closed captioning would mean that the user only has to set the times for each script command instead of constantly copying and pasting text into the script commands section.

Add shift/ripple function to script commands so that you don't have to move each script command individually when updating a video edit
If there is a shift needed for script commands that I have already placed, I currently have to move each one individually. It would be nice to add a shift/ripple edit to the script commands so they can all be moved simultaneously.

Add the functionality to add captions to Live Smooth Streaming
Add the functionality to add captions to Live Smooth Streaming using the script commands feature during live encoding.
The feature is there when using broadcast/WMV but not for Smooth Streaming to a publishing point. What I want to achive is that while live encoding for instance a soccer game, I want to be able insert text into the stream when someone scores a goal or similar.

support live captioning software
Add a method to insert live script commands from remote live captioning software. My suggestion would be to add a TCP port to receive and encode script commands during a live broadcast.
