make the "clip removal" feature more reliable
I am constantly getting an adjacent clip removed to the one I have right-clicked in. Constantly requiring an "Undo" and a re-positioning of the mouse further left than I would have expected would be necessary. Seems to be slightly more reliable when zoom level is not in use - ie full sequence timeline is in view from start to end.

Remove the limit of the number of media source used concurrently
There is currently a limit of multiple sources that can be used on the same timeline because of poor memory usage. This feature would enable using more than 7-8 HD sources on the same timeline and would enable stop-motion still scenarios.

Multiple Bitrate support for WMV during Live Encoding
Ability to encode multiple bitrate WMVs during live encode (like WME 9 allows). For example, you could create a single WMV file that contains both a 300k and 700k bitrate that you can use for streaming or split out into separate files.

Add capability to manipulate Smooth Streaming publishing points to IIS automatically
In many cases, the encoding role is separate from that of managing an IIS server as such the capability to push to an IIS server without having local access is required. The encoder should be able to create a publishing point and if required remove the publishing point from a check box on the encoder similar to that in WM9Encoder.

Allow audio source selection on File Sources
Add the capability to select an audio source on File sources, this would allow the user to switch between live and files sources during a live session and be able to use one audio source for all sources.

Add Start - Stop duration to Live Sources
Add the capability to allow the user to select a start and stop time for Live Sources, also add the opion to "play then" to Live sources. This would be great to automate an entire stream wth both live and file sources.

License "invisble" Expression Encoder Install with H.264 in .NET SDK
It would be nice if I could package EE3 as part of my .NET application, ideally with H.264 support. Perhaps MS could license the core components but not the Expression Program itself. Basically, a runtime package that has the functionallity of EE4 pro without the UI.

Removing or Lowering Pay-For Expression Encoder
Expression Encoder should be free or priced to cover the cost of the H.264 licensing only(?). WME9 was free and this makes developing products a pain as you have to plan for the Free and Pro scenarios.

Much Wider H.264 Server Support
Support for Wowza server. Ability to stream H.264 to a much wider range of servers. SDK support for adding server uStream etc. The WMV format is hard sell now that H.264 has become the dominant delivery format. I think it's time for Microsoft to implement H.264 streaming in Windows Media Services.
