        While I'm not an expert on this topic, I believe that utilizing the video decoding functionality of the Sandy Bridge Intel CPUs (as shown in the YouTube video), coupled with the GPU encoding features already in Expression Encoder 4 Pro SP1, would amount to very quick video transcoding and strongly position Expression Encoder 4 Pro above competing video transcoding applications. Hence, I would like to see Intel Quick Sync functionality incorporated into later service packs of Expression Encoder 4 Pro, where one could use Quick Sync to decode and an Nvidia GPU to encode video.
