Add the ability to do simple audio trims (remove segments), without the need to reencode the result - i.e. losslessly. This is an everyday function that is missing!

Add the capability to allow the user to select a start and stop time for Live Sources, also add the opion to "play then" to Live sources. This would be great to automate an entire stream wth both live and file sources.

Ability to use MS Expression Encoder 4 with (full) parameters control from command line.

A WMV file can be protected using a PlayReady sample AES packager, but it would be more helpful if Expression supported this, even if as some kind of plug-in so that it is an add on to the base version.

By having Pixel Shaders used in the Encoding Process would enable things like Hue, Saturation and different "Looks".

I would like for screen capture to use external codecs so one can choose compression. As it is now, I would like to record videos that play on flash sites or use wmp. The latest screen capture and the previous one do not work for this unless you set the bitrate to close to 50000!!! Please implement this feature and contact me thanks in advance.

We find the audio is out of sync arriving around 100ms after the 1080p video.

Supporting ASIO would allow for lower latency from the sound card thus keeping a tighter sync with the video.

I don't see a way to encode content to Dolby 5.1.

If a process of the expression encoder is running, it would be great if the button could send the currently selected captured video optionally as a new track / new addition to the track instead of always starting a new exp. encoder process.
