publish live smooth stream from VOD file without reencoding
For live smooth streaming, I want to publish a live stream from a smooth streaming VOD file that has already been encoded. I have a large smooth streaming multi-bitrate VOD library and don't want to reencode it when publishing as a live stream. Smart encoding (copy without reencoding) should work in live broadcast scenarios.

Azure Encoding
Implement Expression Encoder as a service on Azure - e.g. "Windows Azure Encoding". Read and write input/output to and from BLOB storage or FTP. We need a scalable and fast encoding solution (especially for Smooth Streaming) with a simple pricing structure which is easy to integrate with the rest of our video service hosted on Azure.

support live captioning software
Add a method to insert live script commands from remote live captioning software. My suggestion would be to add a TCP port to receive and encode script commands during a live broadcast.

Ability to zoom in/out of screen capture
When editing a video it would be great to be able to zoom in/out of areas. Also it would be great to highlight sections on/off. This would be especially useful for screen capture demonstrations.

allow expressions in job output directory field
self explanatory really - like you can use in the Media File Name, allow the folders to be named via variables too.

Enable multiple webcams for recording
I get "device in use" all too often when trying to record more than one webcam or video source on a USB bus. I currently need to record 3 or more parallel video streams for later playback via smooth streaming. I just bought two HD webcams, and only one will work at a time. Actually, this particular webcam can only be used by itself, because it blocks all of the other parallel video sources.
